Open every day from 1:00 to 10:00 p.m., the Live Homework Help program connects students with qualified tutors for free, online help with school assignments.
Tutoring is available--in English and Spanish--in four content areas: math, science, social studies, and English. Tutors do not provide answers to questions or problems, but rather guide students to find answers for themselves. Students can use Live Homework Help as often as they like.
A non-Mac computer connected to the internet, along with a San Diego Public Library card and PIN number are all that's required to access the service. (To obtain a library card and PIN, visit any library branch location.) Optionally, the service may be accessed from city libraries without entering a library card number.
